Where is a foam racket different from a honeycomb core racket?

The honeycomb core racket has hollow cells, so the response is strongest at the center and gradually decreases to the edge. The solid foam core bears the load on the entire surface, which the company calls foam under tension: uniform response, no dead spots, and when the ball hits the racket, the foam compresses and pushes the ball away faster. That's why players feel powerful without swinging their arms harder. JOOLA calls this feeling effortless power.
