Warranty Policy

All paddles and other gears sold at Mypickleball are sourced directly from the manufacturers/brands or their authorised distributors.

All new paddles are covered by manufacturers' warranties for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, which can be checked by visiting the official website of the relevant manufacturers.

Paddle warranties claim must be submitted following the specific manufacturer’s listed warranty process. If the manufacturer’s process requests you submit directly through them, please follow their instructions as some manufacturers will not allow us to process warranties on their behalf. Some manufacturers require the paddle to be registered through them after purchase to be applicable for a warranty claim.

Separately, Mypickleball provides minimum 3 months warranty against manufacturing defects in the event the paddles and other gears purchased from us are not covered by the warranty of the manufacturers. Longer period of up to maximum 6 months may be allowed on a case to case basis. For paddles sold with promotional discount of 20% or higher, the warranty may not apply or may be valid for only one month.

Take note that the paddle must have an actual defect to be considered for an exchange for warranty claim. Any issue or defects caused by normal wear and tear over time and usage, abuse and negligence will not be accepted.

Normal wear includes faded graphics, small dents or scratches (which don't affect play) and markings/residue left by pickleballs on the face. All paddles must be kept properly and must be placed or stored out of extreme temperatures and humid conditions to prevent early decomposition.

Paddles that show signs of abuse or unusual wear will not be replaced. Damage from impact is not covered under the paddle warranty. You should never use your paddle to hit anything other than a pickleball.

Different brands may set more detailed criteria with examples to differentiate between manufacturing defects that are allowed to claim warranty and those that will be rejected.

One such example is the criteria set by RPM as shown at the bottom of this document.

If you believe or suspect your paddle has manufacturing defect and it is within the timeframe of warranty claim period and you are required by the manufacturer to claim through its retailers or you wish to try claiming the warranty through us, you may start the claim process by submitting your claim to our email at customercare@mypickleball.my with the following information and documents.

  1. Description of the defects or suspected paddle of the paddle and other condition
  2. Attaching relevant videos or photos of the paddles showing areas of defects
  3. Attaching copy of invoice or receipt to prove the paddle was purchased from us
  4. Any other information or documents that may further support your claim

You may opt to submit your claim directly at Mypickleball Super Store at Unit S29, Level 2, Strand Mall Kota Damansara, Selangor by providing the relevant information and by returning or presenting the paddle for our initial inspection.

Upon receipt of your warranty claim, we will do an initial review of your case and we will carry out initial inspection or testing ( if necessary and if paddle is returned ) of the paddle to assess if there is indeed a manufacturing defect. Where the case is not clear cut, we may consult the manufacturer for further guidance and approval. In some cases, we will need to send the paddle or the video and photo to the manufacturer to decide on the warranty claim.

The process may take a few days to longer time depending on the issue of the paddle and the response from the manufacturer where applicable.

Once a decision is made on the claim whether approved or rejected, we will communicate the result of the claim to you as soon as possible.

For paddle warranties processed through Mypickleball and approved, we reserve the right to replace the paddle directly from our stock. If the purchased paddle is no longer available or has been discontinued, we will provide an in-store credit for the purchase price of the paddle, which can be applied towards a different model or paddle for the replacement. The store credit will be valid for one month.

Warranty replacements are limited to one replacement per paddle purchase; the warranty of the original paddle purchased does not transfer to the replacement paddle.

The warranty applies only to the original owner(the purchaser) and cannot be transferred to another person (next owner). The warranty does not apply to used paddle and paddle obtained as free gift.

For non paddles, generally the same policy and process for the paddles stated above shall apply with some appropriate modifications.

Example : RPM paddle – criteria for manufacturing defect

✅ What IS Covered (Manufacturing Defects)

  • Core-Crushing:
    • Defined as when the center of the paddle is pressed firmly or squeezed and a “crunching” sound is heard or the paddle face gives way.
    • Important Distinction: Squeezing along the edges of the paddle does NOT qualify for core-crushing.

  • Edgeguard Issues:
    • If the edgeguard detaches from the paddle face or there is a visible gap between it and the paddle’s surface, this is considered a manufacturing defect.

Verification: While the situations above are manufacturing defects, we will need to verify with the customer that these defects resulted from regular gameplay. Defects resulting from paddle negligence or abuse are not covered.

❌ What is NOT Covered

  • False "Delamination" (Edge Squeezing):
    • It is a common misconception that a paddle is "delaminated" if it makes a sound when squeezed along the edges.
    • Explanation: RPM Friction Pro paddles are constructed using both polypropylene honeycomb and foam. A minor sound when squeezed, especially along the top edge, is not out of the ordinary and can occur even with fresh, new paddles. This is natural for Gen 3 paddles utilizing perimeter foam; the foam purposefully compresses, resulting in a minor sound.
    • If a customer claims the top edge is delaminated based on this sound, the claim should be denied.

  • Normal Wear & Tear:
    • Wearing down of grit/texture from normal gameplay.
    • Edge guard nicks or grip wear from typical play.

  • Cosmetic Wear:
    • Fading, minor scratches, or visual imperfections that do not affect the paddle's playability.

  • Negligence & Misuse:
    • Damage from improper storage.
    • Striking the ground (throwing or slamming the paddle).
    • Contact with non-pickleball objects (e.g., colliding with another player's paddle).

  • Structural Modifications:
    • Permanent changes (e.g., removing or replacing the butt cap) will void the warranty, especially if damage occurs to the modified area.
    • Exception: Cosmetic accessories such as overgrips, edge guard tape, or lead tape do not void the warranty.
